Officials of 4icu.org say they focus essentially on the performance of universities and the level of their visibility. “We take into consideration the quality of a university’s website because it is fundamental in the dissemination of knowledge. It is also important for the university’s evaluation, their activities and the essence for their faculties to use the website as a medium of visibility and image building in the international scene,” noted a release from 4icu.org

What criteria was used to decide the ‘best”. I see that on the list the National University of science and technology (NUST) in Zimbabwe is outside is not on the list but tshwane university of technology which largely churns out diplomas is included here( and is basically a technical college). The selection criteria at NUST is one of the best only taking the creme de la creme “A” level students in its degree programmes yet it is being left out. The drop out rate is almost zero yet some universities in the list the drop out rate in the first year is above 30%!
this classification is wrong universities in Cameroon can’t be that backward especially university of Yaoundé 1 and university of Buea
